Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa

Addo Elephant National Park in South Africa

The malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park is located in the beautiful Sundays River Valley, 70 km northeast of the city of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. This national park has a very large elephant population and other African wildlife, including the "Big 7" (Big Seven) - lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, elephant, whale and dolphin. At the opening of the park in 1931 only 16 elephants lived in this area. Today this game park is managed through a coordinated ecosystem to offer over 550 elephants a sanctuary.

Enjoy an unforgettable experience on diverse safaris with game watching. By integrating the Zuurberge as well as the Sundays River and the Bushman's River, this park offers a unique landscape and is South Africa's third largest national park.
