Surfing the Super Tube in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa

The surfers' eldorado Jeffreys Bay hosts the annual surf contest "Super Tube" in the Indian Ocean, here at the gateway to South Africa's Garden Route. Those who are not sure how, when and whether to surf at all, will not hesitate for long whilst in J'Bay (as the locals call their town). The surf school promises stability on the board in about 4 days and for the thoroughly fit, tanned buddies to own private tunnel vision in the super tubes of St Francis Bay.

A pleasant climate distinguishes the area and the town is surrounded by white sandy beaches, where there are up to 400 different kinds of shells. Enjoy swimming in the sea, sunbathing and beach walks.
